Georgia’s earthquake shakes Armenia’s Tavush and Lori
The Seismological Network of the Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations
of the Republic of Armenia recorded on July 27 a 4-magnitude earthquake at 10:58 local time (06:58 Greenwich time). The geographical coordinates of the epicenter were 41.67° north latitude and 44.89° eastern longitude (Rustavi, Georgia). The
hypocenter of the earthquake was on the depth of 10 kilometers.
The underground aftershock magnitude in the epicenter was 56 points. The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the earthquake was felt in Stepanavan – 34, Noyemberyan – 45, Koghb – 4 and Koti – 3.
