Azerbaijan earthquake felt in Artsakh and Syunik
The seismic network of Seismic Protection Service of Armenia Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations registered at 06.39, January 12, 4.8 magnitude earthquake in Azerbaijan. The underground shock in the epicenter was 5-6 points. The
geographical coordinates of the epicenter were 39.230 north latitude and 48.440 eastern longitude. The hypocenter of the
earthquake was at a depth of 10km.
As “Armenpress” was informed by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, the earthquake was felt in Stepanakert, Askeran, Hadrut, Shushi, Berdzor towns of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Kajaran, Kapan towns of Syunik with (3-4 points).
