Tension on Karabakh frontline on height as Azerbaijan uses anti-aircraft guns
The tension along the Nagorno-Karabakh Line of Contact remained high on the night of Saturday as Azerbaijan released fire from heavy launchers, continuing to violate the recently agreed verbal truce.
Nagorno-Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense reports that the adversary released fire 30 times from 60mm and 82mm caliber mine-launcher (52 and 142 mines respectively), different types of grenade-launchers and the ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon.
One serviceman of the Defense Army, Hovhannes E Poghosyan, 21, was seriously wounded.
The retaliatory operations launched by the Defense Army’s frontline subdivisions helped suppress the adversary.
